I've been employed to work as a DSP (Direct Support Professional) with multiple companies. I've nurtured and assisted many different people with different conditions. This field is so heartwarming to see the individuals accomplish their goals in their day to day lives. I've also worked with individuals in my own home through the foster care system. I have experience with independent as well people who are in need of full assistance. I do not have experience with feed tubes or colostomy or drainage bags.
