I am a Math education major and Sherman STEM scholar at UMBC. I received my AA from Carroll Community College in elementary education. I have been working with children for many years as a nanny, babysitter, and director of a before and after care center, where I assisted struggling students with their homework. I have also been a private tutor for the high school and college level math classes for over 4 years. As a junior in my math program I have completed Pre Calc, Trig, Geometry, Calc I, Calc II, Calc III, Linear equations, differential equations, as well as 400 level math classes. I am also well versed in all of the 100 level sciences, compsci, and statistics. I hope to one day be a teacher and help students love STEM as much as I do!
