About Rachel

Hi, I'm Rachel! I'm a current preschool teacher looking for an after school nannying position. I love working with all ages, and while most of my childcare experience has been in the classroom so far, I've done some babysitting in the past and have no doubt that my skills will be transferrable. I create an energetic, positive, and educational environment for all children in my care! In my spare time, I'm also working to pursue a career in acting! Singing and storytelling are big passions of mine, and I find that my theater skills are massively helpful when working with children, be it during music time, imaginative play, or while leading activities. Since my background is in daycare and preschool teaching, I'd say finding a lesson to teach within even the most everyday of moments is one of my biggest skills. Other skills include active and enthusiastic incorporations of music and story time into my childcare.
