About Rachel

For over two decades, my focus has been nurturing children. Before dedicating myself to raising my own three kids, I taught 7th grade Language Arts and Reading. My background includes a college degree and experience as a certified teacher. I enjoy engaging children with outdoor sports, board games, puzzles, and educational activities. I am comfortable caring for one child at a time and follow the parents' lead when it comes to household rules and communication preferences. I also provide light housekeeping. I am CPR and First Aid trained. C. S. Lewis once said that children are the most important work, and I am ready to continue that work with your family.
