About Rachel

Hello! I'm Rachel, originally from Washington State and recently relocated to Wilmington with my boyfriend and our dogs. I have nearly 5 years of experience in childcare, including over 4 years as a Teacher's Assistant in a toddler classroom. Before working in a classroom I also did lots of babysitting and have schooling in early education as well. I love nature and enjoy sharing this passion with children. I'm happy to take your children on nature walks, as I did when I worked in my old classroom. I'm skilled at helping toddlers nap, using various strategies based on their temperament. I'm also experienced with pets-both dogs and cats-and offer care like feeding, walking, and play. I'm happy to help with light chores too. Message me with any questions!
