I have many years of experience working with end of life and hospice. I firmly believe in caring with compassion and love. It is always my goal when entering a home to make the visit something the patient looks forward to. I do all the routine care such as bathing, meal prep, light house keeping, medication, wound care, physical therapy activities and also companionship to make the days brighter and something worth looking forward to. I have a long history of dementia and Alzheimer's care .. as well as end of life. I am skilled with hoyer lifts, g-tubes and many other special needs. I prefer longer shifts of 8-12hr but am willing to consider shorter shifts if the distance from me isn't to great. I do not refer to my people as clients but rather patients.. because a client is someone you deal with for money.. a patient is someone your focus is love and care.. Rachel has been the biggest blessing in taking care of our parents while they were alive. She was there through everything for our family.
