About Rachel

I'd describe my personality as upbeat, empathetic & fun loving. I like working with kids because they see & interpret the world so differently than adults do. I'm looking for a job where I'll be valued & can really feel like I'm making a difference in the lives of the children I care for and their families. I started working with kids when I was 13 years old, they were a group of siblings (4, 6 & 8) whose parents also had another on the way. I started watching him once born. I enjoy cooking, baking, crochet, hiking & gardening. As well as age appropriate science projects and crafts while watching children. Something you should know is I have piercings & visible tattoos. I don't feel this hinders my ability to give care in any way. Experience: 6+ years caring for infants & children nb to 11 years, potty training as well as housekeeping. I have previously had CPR & First Aid certs but they expired, I'll be obtaining new training after the New Year.
