About Rachel

Hello! I'm Rachel, and I am currently in grad school for Elementary Education. I will begin student teaching this fall, until then, I am lucky to be working with some lovely families part-time. If you're interested in an occasional sitter for date nights this summer and fall, read on. I have a long and treasured history in childcare, from babysitting in middle/high school through working in childcare during and after college in Atlanta. My childcare style is active, attentive, and hands-on, and I love creating games and crafts to keep us busy. I am currently trained/certified by the Red Cross in First Aid and CPR for all ages. Though I love all animals, I'm super-allergic to cats and unfortunately can't be in a house with one. Dogs are A-OK! I maintain a healthy lifestyle, and in my spare time I enjoy gardening, being outdoors, cooking/baking, volunteering, and learning. I would love to mind your little ones as they develop.
