About Rachel

Growing up in the country, animals were my first and best friends. I always said I'd become a veterinarian, and while that path didn't unfold, my bond with animals has only deepened. From dog walking in San Francisco, homesteading on the Central California coast with ducks, a goose, and horses, and to befriending every street dog in Southern Mexico. I most recently taught preschool at an outdoor farm school--paradise, truly. Days filled with reminders of how to stay calm when chaos erupts. Now a grad student in Portland, I miss daily animal companionship. Pet sitting isn't just a job for me--it's what makes me feel most at home. Whether it's long walks, playtime, sticking to routines, or simply offering a calm and loving presence, I bring genuine care and reliability to every animal I'm lucky enough to spend time with. Time with animals is where I'm happiest, and I'd love to care for yours!
