I have been a kindergarten assistant as well as a volunteer for grades K-6. Furthermore, I have had a variety of opportunities to care for, teach, and play with children of all ages (including teenagers) through various volunteer experiences, and specifically when I was a volunteer representative at a historical site for 18 months. Families of all shapes and sizes would come to the site, and it was my task to meet their needs and engage the whole family in the different aspects of the historical site (which often meant entertaining the artsy children while the parents looked around the site). I love children and feel I have a natural rapport with children of all ages. My heart was never so broken as when I had to leave my kindergarten class because of my move to California.
