About Rachel

I have 2 years of professional experience nannying kids ages 3-6, but I have been watching kids since I was 13. I also have a little over a year of experience working with children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. A large responsibility in this field of work is promoting/teaching independence and autonomy, as well as building social skills to support a healthy social life in the community. I can help with light housekeeping, laundry, travel, cooking, as well as any other errands you may need. I am great at getting kids active, and engaging them in fun, creative, and challenging new activities. In high school I played waterpolo and swam competitively, through the school I volunteered at the UH Hilo campus during the summer (2019) to teach kids how to swim. I am also CPR and basic first aid certified.
