Hello families! My name is Rachel and I am passionate about working with children and young people experiencing mental health concerns. I am working towards my Master's in Social Work. I currently work as a guidance counselor at a PreK-8th private school, and formerly as a frontline staff at a therapeutic boarding school. There, I taught and lived with teens who needed significant mental health support, with diagnoses such as: Depression, anxiety, ADD/ADHD, ODD, OCD, Pre-bipolar disorder, Schizophrenia, and a variety of other behavioral concerns. I believe all young people need the support of caring, consistent adults. My goal is to help young people grow into the people they will become. I believe that young people and teens struggling with mental health are more than their diagnoses. They are individuals with interests, dreams, and quirks. I would welcome being a part of your child's journey, and help support them as they move through this stage of life!
