I started care-taking for young children (between ages 2 and 10) when I was 13/14 years old. I babysat for about 5 years, and then started teaching swim lessons to a wide range of ages (mostly children from 3-12 years old) at the Brookfield YMCA when I was 18 years old. I have on and off been teaching youth in swimming since then, for the last 10 years. I have also had some experience in taking care of youth with Special Needs, both in teaching swim lessons, teaching art at a private school, and volunteering at a Special Needs Education Center in Uganda. Lastly, and most recently, I've been a coach, dorm parent, and teacher at two different private schools in the last few years!
