I have 12 years of experience in the health care field with all walks of life. Infants (ICU & Mother baby), toddlers (ICU, Peds), young children (ICU, Peds), adolescents (ICU, Peds), young adults, older adults and the elderly (ICU, Med Surg, Surg, Oncology, Cardiac, Neuro, Neuro Trauma, ER, Burn unit, Telemetry, Psych, Rehab, Ortho, Gynecology, Geriatric-LTC facility and in home health.) I was working toward a nursing degree but have decided on a new career path. I still want to help people, though. I've been told I'm kind, patient, and understanding with others who are in hard and difficult situations in their lives. It makes me feel so good to help people who need it when they are unable to help themselves.
