About Rachel

They say it takes a village to raise a child, and I have loved being apart of many villages over the last 10 years. My early experiences as a babysitter quickly showed me how much I love working kids, and I soon shifted into the role of full-time nanny for almost 2 years during my undergrad. From there, I worked as a preschool teacher for 2 more years as I finished my degree in human development and family life studies. Since then, I have worked in the mental health field as a counselor and mentor, supporting families in several different capacities. Now, I would love to be a part of your village! I am available for part-time/weekend child care. I'm a big believer in learning through play, reading fun books, and cleaning up after big adventures. I can't wait to meet your family and support however I can.
