About Rachel

Growing up with my grandparents instilled in me a deep love for caring for others, especially our aging population. I have nine years of caregiving experience, seven years of hospital experience, and two years working in a nursing home. I provide compassionate care that prioritizes both safety and meaningful engagement. As a nursing student specializing in neurology and memory care, I am experienced in dementia care, redirecting attention, hospice care, and adapting to the unique needs of each person I support. I also have hands-on experience providing in-home care for individuals who experienced paralysis following cervical spine surgery. I am CPR and First Aid certified and I'm happy to assist with medication management, mobility, daily activities, engaging companionship, errands, and transportation. I value clear communication and building trust with families. My goal is to help each person feel respected and heard, while maintaining dignity at there safest level of independence.
