Hello! My name is Rachel and I am a nursing student at TSC! My goal is to become a nurse and work in maternal and child health! That being said, I love to work with babies and have the most experience with newborns and toddlers, including using methods like self-led weaning and Montessori style learning. I come from a large family and have 2 younger sisters, so I am also good with a older kids and am comfortable with tutoring, arts & crafts, cooking, cleaning, outdoor activities, and more. If you're looking for someone who is task-oriented, kind, and multifaceted, I am your girl! Additionally, I am in the USF marching band in the fall! We hired Rachel to look after our 1yr old baby earlier this year and from the moment I interviewed her I knew right away she was a great fit for us. She had a very calm, pleasant and a "can do attitude". She carefully listened to how our family works and what we expect of her. She was always punctual, and shared ideas on how to keep our 1yr old entertained while teaching her through play and music. Our daughter was always well rested and happy around her, I really couldn't ask for more. She also helped a bit around the home when the baby was sleeping which was much appreciated. Rachel is a quick learner, stayed on top of her to-do lists, helped with meal prep and when she had time she made delicious baked goods! We got along so perfectly that felt like she's part of our family, I'd hire her again in a hear beat! I highly recommend her, she's a gem of a person and an amazing nanny!
