I have done it all; from burping, feeding, preparing bottles, cooking, cleaning, laundry, bathing, playing , reading, diaper changing , daily report sheets and putting child to sleep. I have three grown children of my own, when your child is in my care they are loved and cared for as if they are my very own. I took a break from working as a nanny in 2017 to care for my granddaughter, now that she is in school, I'm going back to work.

I hired Rachel for a part-time nanny position starting late July 2026. It was supposed to be a long-term position, but she quit without notice the day before her third week. On her first day of work, she asked me if it would be okay if she brought her granddaughter with her to stay at my house while she worked, which was definitely something she should have brought up during the interview process. She did everything she was asked to do, but she never really seemed to be happy to be there, and my girls did not connect with her. Her second week of work she used one of her sick days, which ended up being her last day of work because, a few days later (the Sunday before the first day of school), she texted me that she was quitting. The work agreement she signed required her to give me 30 days notice, but she told me she couldn't continue to work because she had to take care of her mother whose health, she claimed, had taken a turn for the worse. I didn't argue. However, since then, I have noticed that she has updated her bio and profile pic on this site.
