About Rachel

I started working with pets in 2016 as a pet sitter and dog walker. I decided to advance my canine education and experience and became a certified Dog Trainer & Behavior Specialist in 2019 through an intensive in-person course in Texas. I have an academic background in Social Work and volunteer experience with children and families, most notably as a group facilitator for a grief center for 9 yrs, but also with: special education elementary students, adults with IDD, and as a childcare & convalescent care provider for 5yrs. I've had the pleasure of working almost exclusively with military families and their resilient pet dogs all over the US. Now settling in Colorado, I'm looking forward to working with all family types to help you thrive and live your best lives together! *I am able to pass the background check required for military installation sponsorship if applicable. And I am professionally insured, to make sure you have peace of mind while trusting your pets in my care.
