My journey in childcare began at age 10, and over the past decade, I have developed a deep passion for supporting children of all abilities. Having transitioned from caregiver to an upper management role at an autism care facility, I bring extensive professional experience working with both neurotypical children and those with developmental disabilities, including behavioral challenges. I am trained in mobility supports such as wheelchairs, gait belts, harnesses, and more. I am also certified in specialized diets, Med Aid certified, and trained in CPR, First Aid, and Abuse & Neglect prevention. I am patient, creative, and enjoy engaging children through outdoor play, puzzles, and educational activities. I am comfortable enforcing household rules and can assist with meals, transportation, and light housekeeping. I prioritize clear communication and adapt updates to your preferred method.
