About Rachel

My name is Rachel and I am looking for part-time or full-time childcare work this summer. I'm graduating physician assistant school and taking my board exam in mid-May. Since it takes several months for my license to be processed, I'm looking for summer work in the meantime! I grew up dancing and teaching dance lessons at my studio, and did full-time summer babysitting while doing my undergrad at The University of Virginia. I have my own car for transportation. I am CPR-certified (Basic Life Support), as well as PALS certified (Pediatric Advanced Life Support). I have lots of experience working with kids this year, from a very busy outpatient pediatrics practice to working in the emergency room seeing kids on a daily basis. I started working with kids in middle school! I began as a teacher's assistant at my dance studio. I loved working summer dance camps and as a substitute dance teacher for ages 4-15. In my spare time, I like to exercise, get outside, read, and try new recipes.
