About Rachel

Hello families, I worked as a direct care worker in an adult home for eight years. I am also the mother of six children. I am currently taking classes to get my bachelor's in psychology and I am working at a private school as a teachers aid. I am CPR trained, and have an up to date TB test. I have been a stay at home mom for many years, this is my first year back to working outside the home. I'd describe my personality as calm, thoughtful, good sense of humor. I like working with seniors because I loved my own grandmother, who passed at 96. I loved hearing her stories and listening to her wisdom. I'm looking for a job that would allow me to care for someone, have fun with that person, and still have time for my children and husband. In my spare time, I like to read, bake with sourdough and go on walks. My skills include giving medication, dressing, bathing, cooking for, feeding, taking to appointments, CPR trained. Willing to do more training as well.
