About Rachel

I have always loved working with kids - it's so fun to find creative ways to engage their brains, learn from kids as they grow and make new discoveries, and get to know their emerging personalities. I'm looking for a part time job with a family that I can really get to know over the next few years! I have been babysitting and working with kids since I was in my early teens, and have taken care of kids ranging from newborns to teenagers! In my spare time, I'm an active reader, a runner, and I also love to cook and spend time with friends and family. I'm a graduate student at Berkeley currently completing my JD/PhD in Political Science! My skills include keeping kids entertained (with crafts, games, outdoor activities, etc.), helping with homework, and keeping things organized at home.
