About Rachel

I am a college graduate with my bachelors! Although not experienced in professional child care, I have over 4 years of experience babysitting my cousins, niece, and the children of a few faculty members and staff on campus. I study dramatic arts and indigenous studies, but for a very long time, I wanted to go into childcare and have a passion and affinity for it. I have the most experience with children ranging in ages 1 to 5. As well as to give CPR to a young child, toddler, or baby. I am particularly skilled at creating activities, games, and things to keep youngsters occupied. I am familiar with montessori learning styles and gentle parenting. I am patient and a fast learner, and routine comes easily to me. I am quick to my feet and can deal with tantrums and arguments efficiently. At my college I was a resident assistant and I have been trained in mediation, first aid, and fire saftey among many others! Looking for a family to work with while I get on my feet post-grad
