About Rachel

I have been taking care of my nephews for years now (as needed). They are currently eight and six, and very energetic children. I started caretaking for children in college as a part time job for a family in Brookline. I can prepare food, play games, teach educational skills if preferred and I also coach basketball, cross country, and recently stopped coaching lacrosse. I love children and was a 6th grade English teacher. I have taught and tutored children for about 15 years now. I am comfortable with all types, learning styles, and can help you if needed! I am also CPR/First Aide certified.

I needed someone to help me alternate between my newborn and 2.5 year old. Rachel fit into our crew so well. She was communicative with me, patient yet took good initiative with my toddler. As a teacher I appreciated the way she interacted with my toddler as well for their different activities. Having her with us was a relief in juggling the two kiddos. By the end of our short time together, my daughter gave her a hug and a kiss and has been mentioning her this afternoon.
