I have called in sick once in 4 years due to a stomach flu. I have experience taking care of family members in their later years but a lot of my experience is with dearest long lived friends who I have voluntarily helped and spent time with. I have known Rachel for five years. She was the much loved yard supervisor at my children's elementary school and as I teach full-time, I hired her to help me in the afternoons. She would bring my daughters home from school, prepare delicious and healthy meals, help them with their homework, and make their time together both enjoyable and educational. Rachel has taken care of my daughters for several days at a time, when my husband and I needed to be out of town. At the moment, she still helps me with driving the girls to or from school three days a week and she also house-sits for us every summer. Our dog always seems a bit disappointed when we come back, because Rachel will spoil her with walks, attention, and play. Rachel is extremely reliable. She has a warm and generous personality, and she is an excellent listener, who always thinks of ways to turn every challenge into an opportunity. I cannot recommend her more highly.
