I am a passionate and experienced provider with an extensive background in working with children and adults on the Autism Spectrum (including dual diagnosis) for 12 years. Currently, I am a full-time elementary teacher with 15 years experience. I am extremely nurturing and compassionate. I have extensive knowledge of child development. As I completed my Bachelor's in Psychology and moved on to obtaining my teaching credential and Master's degree in Education, I continued working with individuals on the Autism Spectrum as a Case Supervisor/Consultant. I also have extensive education and training in BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analysis) Behavior management, Discrete Trial, PECS, sensory integration, teaching play skills and social facilitation. I understand the importance of maintaining consistency and following daily routines, while also allowing and encouraging flexibility in caring for individuals with special needs.
