Hello! My name is Rachel. I am 27 years old, and I am a 5th grade teacher. I graduated Liberty University with a degree in Elementary Education! I absolutely adore kids and I have spent a lot of time volunteering in the nursery and children's programs at my church. I love outdoor activities such as hiking, kayaking, swimming, etc. I also love anything involving music, reading, or writing. I think it's very important to expose children to a fun variety of experiences indoors and out. I have no problem doing household chores or cooking. My son is 9 months old and to this point, we've been fortunate to either be home with him or have relatives take care of him when needed. The idea of allowing someone new into our lives, into our son's life, and into our home (especially mid-pandemic) took a lot of faith, but Rachel is someone we knew we could trust from the moment we met her. She's kind, definitely dependable and loves our little man so much! She's flexible, always on time and willing to work with our evolving schedule. She's everything we could have hoped to find!
