About Rachel

Hello! I'm an elementary special education teacher with 11 years of experience working with children of all ages. I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, a Master's degree in Elementary Education, and a Teacher of Students with Disabilities certificate. I currently teach a self-contained second and third grade Language and Learning Disabilities class. I have primarily worked with younger elementary students from preschool through third grade. I'm available for afternoon, evening, and occasional babysitting, as well as tutoring. I have specialized training in multisensory reading instruction and I also taught remotely so virtual tutoring is an option as well. I'm dependable, patient, creative, and genuinely enjoy working with children. I'd love to learn more about your family and see how I can help! *As I work full-time as a teacher, I am not available for to work mornings or do school drop-offs.
