About Rachel

Hello! I am currently an elementary special education teacher. I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, a Master's degree in Elementary Education, and a Teacher of Students with Disabilities certificate. I currently teach a second and third grade learning and language disabilities self-contained class, but have spent most of my 11 years teaching in lower elementary grades (pre-k, kindergarten, first, and second grades). I have worked with children of all ages in a variety of settings. I am available for summer afternoon or evening babysitting or occasional babysitting, as well as tutoring, and can provide individualized instruction to help your child(ren) progress and succeed. I would be happy to tutor virtually as well. During the pandemic I taught remotely for one full year. I have training in multi-sensory reading instruction.
