About Rachel

Hi! I'm Rachel, a 4th grade teacher with a Master's in Education from Stanford and over 10 years of experience working with children as a teacher, tutor, swim instructor, nanny, and babysitter. I specialize in elementary reading and math support, homework help, and building strong foundational skills in a way that feels clear, encouraging, and confidence-building for students. I focus on making learning feel less stressful and more understandable, while helping students stay on track with grade-level expectations. I'm currently available for summer tutoring with flexible daytime, evening, and weekend availability. Once the school year begins in August, I'll primarily be available in the evenings and on weekends. I work with a calm, patient, and structured approach and tailor each session to the child's individual needs and learning style.
