About Rachel

I worked for Appleton Area School District and was a teacher's assistant for an elementary school. I met and worked with a variety of different ages and personalities. I enjoy teaching and aiding in good child development. Its now been a while but through this helpful website I was able to help provide childcare for s special needs child from kindergarten to 6th grade before and after school. I did that after my construction job at the time. He did not love everyone but we had a great relationship and a lot of fun times. He taught me a lot about care and patience and trying different methods for trust, discipline, consequences and rewards. I then moved on to janitorial work and now I am back looking to do both and more if needed. I was a kid with a lot energy, I am used to kids with a lot of energy, so that does not intimidate me either. I have german shepard dogs and 2 cats myself so animals are not a problem. I am comfortable and experienced.
