About Rachel

I've been supporting older adults for about seven years, and what I've learned is that the quality of support usually comes down to the relationship, not the task list. My approach is person-centered, relationship-based, and dementia-informed. I pay close attention to communication, routines, personality, changing abilities, safety, and what helps someone feel comfortable, capable, and respected. I believe good support should feel like a partnership and should adapt to the person, not force the person to adapt to the care. I'm thoughtful about fit, consistency, and communication, and I take the responsibility of being invited into someone's life and home very seriously. My goal is to be someone both the person and their family can genuinely trust and depend on.
