About Rachel

Hi, my name is Rachel. I will be a 3rd year at SDSU (studying to be teacher). I love working with kids and am willing to listen to what you wish for your child while carrying things out the way you wish to see them. I have a younger sister who is in the special ed program for intellectual disability and I have helped my parents look after her since I was little. During high school, I spent all four years as a bookclub leader to different groups of elementary kids in reading the assigned material, assigning homework, leading discussions, and coming up with activities correlating to the main lesson of the book. I was also a singing and art buddy to several kids with special needs in the organization Academy of Music and Arts for Special Education where I had to learn to adjust to different individuals with different needs while trying to accomplish the main objective of learning materials. I would love the opportunity to be a sitter for your child and see if I am a fit for your family.
