About Rachel

I am a 53-year-old happily married woman born in Washington DC. I have lived in Loudoun County for over 15 years. I have 20+years of childcare experience that started with helping watch my niece when she was between 5-8yrs old. I would drive her to appts and soccer practice eventually becoming asst coach of her team. Since then I have cared for an 18-month-old girl from 9-5, twin 2yr old boys part time, a 6yr old girl with special needs, a family with four girls ages 9yrs- 14yrs old, twin 9yr old girls, and most recently a single father with an 11yr old boy and 14yr old daughter. For these families I have run errands, done grocery shopping, planned and cooked meals, supervised homework, provided transportation to activities and most importantly been there to be a loving and supportive friend and adult when you can't be there. I love to cook and I am a trained pastry chef. I will ask a lot of questions as I believe this is a collaborative effort and takes teamwork.
