About Rachel

Howdy! I am originally from north Texas and have lived in Maine (where my mother and family are all from) for 3 years now. My love for children began the day my youngest sister was born when I was 8 years old. I have nine nieces and nephews that I've helped care for over the last 22 years! My three years of paid experience plus my college degree and early childhood development coursework have equipped me with the skills to create a safe environment for your child. I'm patient, creative, and love engaging children by spending time in nature, playing games, doing puzzles, arts and crafts. I'm happy to help with cooking, light housekeeping, carpooling, travel, and swimming supervision. I am especially interested in tutoring. I am very comfortable enforcing household rules and will regularly keep you informed of your child's day. It would be a dream to work with a family long-term! Nothing brings my heart more joy than watching a child learn, grow, and experience joy themselves.
