About Rachel

Hi there! I'd describe my personality as outgoing, adventurous and fun. I like working with kids because it's so fun to see the world through their eyes and help them navigate life. They have such an unfiltered lens when they look at the world and that presents challenges as they grow and figure out how to further themselves. So I love witnessing that and being a resource to them as they figure out how to do life. In my spare time, I like to read, craft, and kickboxing. Currently in a big crochet era, and working on a tote bag. I pride myself in finding engaging activities for kids that don't include screens. Obviously in 2023 many children have screens in their life but I really like to engage them in hands on activities that don't include that. Depending on the child and their interests, but for a previous child I nannied for we would have craft parties where I would come up with random art activities.
