About Rachel

Hello! In the past I've have nannied for and tutored two brothers (6 and 10 years old) and three sisters between (4 and 12 years old). For both families, I tutored in reading, math and exams. I started babysitting in high school and, since then, have been an occasional sitter and tutor when my schedule allows it. I also have some experience as a teacher's assistant, adult literacy tutor, and as a substitute teacher for the Salt Lake School District. I really enjoy helping kids with schoolwork, reading and expressing creativity through art. I also value time spent outdoors and away from screens. Outside of occasional babysitting I'm a biologist and junior botanist in environmental consulting. As of April, my WFA certification has expired, but I have taken the course twice and feel confident in my ability to administer CPR.
