About Rachel

I'm passionate about helping elementary students unlock their full potential in literacy and math. With a graduate degree and three years of experience, I create engaging and supportive learning environments. I hold certifications in elementary and special education, with training in literacy programs for students with dyslexia. I actively listen to students and monitor their progress, adjusting my methods to suit their individual learning styles. I celebrate small successes and break down complex problems, building momentum and confidence. Communication is key, and I value building trust with students and parents. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment is the most rewarding part of tutoring. I have a car and am available to tutor at your home, a teacher's home, online, or at the library. I am eager to share my skills and experience to help your child achieve their academic goals!
