About Rachel

Rachel was originally hired by my stepparent, and she went above and beyond in caring for my parent, who has Lewy body dementia — a challenging and unpredictable condition. At the time, my parent was not seeing the right doctors or receiving the correct medications, which caused periods of aggression and made caregiving especially difficult. Rachel handled everything with calm professionalism and genuine compassion. She is extremely empathetic and exceptionally attentive to personal care needs. Rachel is vigilant about keeping her clients clean, comfortable, and dignified — she never leaves anyone wet or in a position that could compromise their self-respect. Rachel is also physically strong and capable of safely assisting and transferring patients who are tall or larger in stature. Beyond her caregiving skills, she is a true peacemaker — patient, rational, and able to work harmoniously even with challenging family dynamics or coworkers.
