About Rachel

Knowing I can positively influence a child's life is why I love childcare. I've enjoyed supporting families by providing reliable care for children of all ages, including those with special needs. I'm patient, creative, and approachable, and I communicate with parents using their preferred method. I worked with people that intellectual disability for six years, I was a para in a high school life skills class for two years. I have a high school diploma, in AA, first aid, training, seizure training, CPR Training, and experience with special needs children. I'm happy to help with cooking, carpooling, light housekeeping, travel, crafts, and swimming supervision. Board games and educational activities are some of my favorites! While I'm somewhat comfortable enforcing household rules, I will always do my best to follow your lead. I have a car and am comfortable with pets. I find joy in watching children learn and grow, and I hope to share my passion with your family!
