About Rachel

Hello! My name is Rachel and I am a 24-year-old graduate student. I am enrolled in the Master's in Psychology program at NYU, but I am currently taking some time off of school to work and refine my academic and career goals. I earned my bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in Psychology and Communication. I have over 10 years in childcare, beginning as a mother's helper when I was 11. My childcare experience includes interning at a preschool and an elementary school, working at an after-school program, being a camp counselor, and nannying. I have also completed multiple courses in child and human development throughout high school and college, including 2 semesters in the lab preschool at my high school. I have experience caring for twins, children ages newborn to 18, and children with allergies and special needs. I find working with kids so rewarding and fun and I look forward to providing quality childcare to families in the area!
