About Rachel

I have almost 10 years of experience working with children, over 5 of which have been working directly with children with both developmental and physical disabilities. I believe that creativity is one of the most beautiful aspects of the human mind and try whenever possible to foster an environment that encourages children to be creative whenever possible through music, dancing, pretend play, writing, and art. I grew up on a farm, so I love all animals no matter the size and think that some of the best memories come from exploring and playing outside. Walks, bike rides, trips to the park--all some of my favorite activities from when I was a nanny right out of college! I most recently worked in an elementary school and am more than willing to help with any kind of homework, distance learning, or tutoring. In addition to childcare, I am also willing to help with housework, cooking, errands, and transportation to and from school/classes.
