I Have worked 10 years in Special Education as a 1:1 aide, resource specialist aide, ABA, and behavioral aide. I also have 13 years experience in recreational childcare as staff for an overnight summer camp. There I held positions as cabin counselor, unit supervisor and program director. I'm currently employed as a Para within a school district working with students who have intensive needs- academic and/or behavioral. I have a strong passion for education and learning and believe that all children are teachable with the right amount of care and patience. Outside of work I spend as much time with my young nieces going on small adventures or having fun doing crafts and games at home. I'm also a lover of nature, gardening and "granny hobbies".
