I hired Rachel after a phone interview and in-person interview. She seemed kind, thoughtful and appeared to be a good fit for my families current needs. We mutually agreed upon a 2 week trial period at the start. Unfortunately Rachel was unable to complete the 2 week trial period. She let me know she was unable to continue providing care the day before she was scheduled to work. I attempted to conduct an exit-interview with her in order to be better understand the issues that lead to the abrupt exit and to help me in my search for her replacement but was unsuccessful.
