About Rachel

I'd describe my personality as friendly, caring and honest. I like caring for seniors because I like helping others and I love hearing stories / life experiences from them. I'm looking for a job that is flexible with my family time. I started caring for seniors during covid/ 2020 when my grandparents were locked down and I saw how important community, socializing and physical fitness were to their physical and emotional health. I still currently take my grandfather on errands and I teach fitness classes to seniors. In my spare time, I like to read, walk outside, play board games and exercise. One thing you should know about me is that I care about individual people; and that I try to always be patient, kind and listen. My skills include CPR/AED/First Aide training (renewed every 2 years), physical fitness certifications for seniors, and life experience with helping care for my own parents and grandparents.
