About Rachel

I have been babysitting children of all ages off and on since I was a teenager! I have worked with families short term and long term. I went to college for sociology and humanities and babysat through the last two years of college. When I graduated, I worked as an at home caseworker for a year, which gave me experience with developmental stages for children and knowledge on parenting skills. I have worked with kids as young as 4 months old and as old as 15 years old. I'm very comfortable taking care of infants. I love spending time outside, going on walks, crafts, tutoring, and teaching life skills with children. Some of my hobbies are reading, crocheting, drawing, hiking, and baking. Many parents have told me that I have a calm demeanor, even in chaos, and that I'm reliable! I'm looking for a long term gig and have the availability to work full time at the moment. I am CPR certified as well.
