About Rachel

I'd describe my personality as adaptable, bright, and considerate. I like working with kids because their curiosity and energy is contagious. I find it such a joy to be part of their every day adventures and learning. I'm looking for a job that allows some flexibility with scheduling, as I am currently in school to receive my doctorate in physical therapy. I started working with kids when I was about 12 years old babysitting for up to 4 children. I have volunteered for 3+ years for over night camps for children of all abilities as a caregiver. In my spare time, I like to read, spend time outside, exercise, and cook. One thing you should know about me is I aspire to be a pediatric physical therapist, and hope to become one at the end of the year! I love to provide a safe and fun environment to nurture the growth of all of the kids I have worked with. My skills include emotional regulation, time management, and creative play.
