About Rachel

Hi, I'm Rachel. This would be my first professional experience caring for a senior. In my personal life I cared for my papaw, my memaw, and meme before they passed. I always found a great sense of purpose and satisfaction in making sure they were comfortable, well fed, and entertained. As someone who everyone called an "old soul" I connected with seniors from a very young age, always having much to talk about with them and laughing a bunch. As someone who has MS I deal with quite a bit of chronic pain myself, so I can empathize in a way that most younger people can't when comforting and caring for a senior who is in pain or ill. I've always loved caring for people and its always been something that makes me happy. On a more practical side, I cleaned homes all through college and can very easily keep a clean, functional kitchen, bathroom, and overall home. I am transitioning away from being a nanny for children and I am fully vaccinated as of March 24 and I never had COVID. Thanks!
