About Rachel

I have worked with seniors over the last 20 years, varying from assisted living facilities, nursing homes, home health care and private care. I have 6+ years of experience working in a nursing home setting where I performed direct and indirect patient care, consisting of: daily hygiene routines, bathing, dressing, feeding, incontinence care, foley's, colostomy care and more. For the past 15 years I have either worked for Home Health Organizations or private care, where I performed all the skills listed above, as well as daily household chores, cooking, socialization, games, walks, pet care, and simple activities which enables the client to remain more independent and at home, where they are comfortable. I love getting to know the client, finding out their likes and dislikes, listening to their stories, and carrying out their needs to the best of my ability.
