About Rachel

Hi! I'm Rachel, recently relocated back to the Lehigh Valley. Caring for children has been part of my life for 20+ years. I spent 3 years helping raise two young children as a stepmom, sharing in their daily care 50% of the time-from potty training, meals and homework to bedtime, activities, sick days and travel. I also grew up in a licensed foster family that welcomed 7 long-term placements plus respite children, ranging from newborns to young kids, including medically fragile and special-needs children. Today, I also help care for my 18-month-old nephews. I'm Red Cross CPR certified with child care training, and my career in large-scale event operations has made me calm, organized and dependable. I'm open to after-school, infant/toddler, date night, backup, short-term and overnight newborn care. Most importantly, I genuinely love kids and would care for yours with warmth, patience and attention!
